Meet The Art Therapist

Dakota is a dedicated Art Therapist with a passion for supporting adolescents, teens, and young adults as they navigate life transitions, evolving family and social dynamics, and the challenges of growing into adulthood. She is deeply committed to helping clients strengthen self-esteem, build confidence, and feel more secure in who they are and who they are becoming. Through her work, Dakota encourages self-awareness, self-compassion, and the ability to embrace imperfection as essential parts of personal growth. Dakota uses an eclectic approach with a humanistic perspective to ensure care is personalized, holistic, and meaningful. Her goal is to help clients express themselves creatively, adjust to life’s changes, manage overwhelm, and achieve lasting growth. With extensive experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and other challenges, Dakota brings a well-rounded and compassionate perspective to her work. Her background as a Behavior Specialist, Counselor, and Art Educator across schools, hospitals, juvenile intervention centers, and youth and family service settings allows her to thoughtfully meet each client where they are and support their unique needs.
